Cancellations/Rescheduling

​

If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so no later than 24 hours before your appointment time. Otherwise, missed appointments are subject to a $40 fee.

 

We understand things come up that are out of your control. Should you arrive within 15 minutes of your appointment time, you may have a shortened service.

 

If you arrive 20 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, your appointment is considered canceled and subject to a $40 missed apppointment fee.

 

Booking Appointments and Cancellation Policy
You can schedule an appointment with Five Branches Acupuncture & Bodywork by calling us at 828-216-4763. 

 

We understand that in some cases you may need to cancel your scheduled appointment. Should you need to cancel, we ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Clients providing a least 24 hours notice may have appointments canceled or rescheduled at no charge. Clients providing less than 24 hours notice for a cancellation will be charged a $30 late cancellation fee. Should an emergency situation arise, please share that information with us, as each situation will be dealt with on an individual basis.

To ensure the availability of your desired appointment time, we suggest you schedule your next visit before leaving.

 

Confidentiality and Conversation

The discussion between the therapist and the client is confidential. The client may or may not choose to talk during the treatment. We are happy to listen and share our professional expertise.

 

Existing and New Medical Conditions

It is the responsibility of the client to keep the therapist informed of any medical treatment currently being taken. It is the responsibility of the client to keep the therapist informed of any changes in health conditions.

 

Pregnancy, Acupuncture and Massage
Acupuncture and massage therapy can be very beneficial for women during pregnancy. However, be sure to let the therapist know you are pregnant in so they can assure your safety and comfort.

We accept cash, personal check, Square, PayPal, and Venmo.

All prices are subject to change, but we will always inform you of any changes when you schedule your appointment.

Sliding Scale

Five Branches Acupuncture & Bodywork serve clients regardless of socio-economic status. A sliding scale fee is available based on the client’s ability to afford our services. We can review options over the phone before initial assessment with the objective of making our services affordable.

 

Exchanges
When you purchase a package of treatments, you will receive a discounted price. The discounted price requires full payment for the series before the first treatment date. We do not offer refunds on packages that have been purchased. Should you choose to cancel after you have begun your treatment series, Five Branches Acupuncture & Bodywork will honor the outstanding amount in the form of a gift certificate to be given as a gift or saved for future use. Credit will be given on remaining funds after the full (not discounted) price of the treatment is debited.
